Filming of “ Dead Bee Sting” Completed in Mersin

Filmed with the support of the Mersin Film Office, the screenplay and direction of “Dead Bee Sting” were handled by Aydın Orak, while Aydın Orak and Fahriye Şentürk served as producers. Starring Cansel Elçin and Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat in the lead roles, filming for the movie was completed in Mersin in September.

The Mersin Film Office (MFO) provided support across the film's preparation and production stages, including researching locations featured in the script, facilitating filming permits, and providing logistical support.

Mersin is on its way to becoming a film set.

Officials stated that, with the support of the Mersin Film Office, the city's natural and historical locations have become more visible, emphasizing that the film shoot contributed to Mersin's promotion and brand value.

 International co-production

The cast of the film, a Türkiye-UK-Serbia co-production, includes Cansel Elçin, Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat, Nilüfer Açıkalın, Tim Seyfi, Mehmet Çepiç, and Görkem Yeltan.

Adapted from the book of the same name by writer and director Aydın Orak, “ Dead Bee Sting” tells the story of an attorney's inner transformation and rebirth following a tragic event.
