Location Scouting for the Film “PIVOT” Completed in Mersin

With the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s General Directorate of Cinema and the Mersin Film Office, the Turkey–Greece co-production “PIVOT” has successfully completed its location scouting in Mersin in September.

Co-produced by Aniden Film and Vigo Film, the feature-length fiction film “PIVOT” continues its preparations to meet audiences soon. The film is directed by Melisa Önel, produced by Alara Hamamcıoğlu, and shot by cinematographer Meryem Yavuz.

As a Turkey–Greece co-production, the film will begin shooting next year in Mersin, with the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s General Directorate of Cinema and the Mersin Film Office.

An important stage in the pre-production process, location scouting has been completed across Mersin with the coordination and support of the Mersin Film Office. The city’s natural beauty, architectural diversity, and film-friendly infrastructure received high praise from the production team.
