Mersin-Filmed Dead Bee Sting to Compete at the 63rd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival

Filmed in Mersin, Dead Bee Sting has been selected for the National Feature Film Competition at the 63rd International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which will take place from 24 to 31 October this year.

One of the 12 films selected for the festival’s National Feature Film Competition, Dead Bee Sting was filmed at various locations across Mersin with the support of the Mersin Film Office, from the pre-production stage through to production.

Written and directed by Aydın Orak, the film is produced by Aydın Orak and Fahriye Şentürk. Starring Cansel Elçin and Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat, the film completed principal photography in Mersin in September 2025.

Mersin’s distinctive architecture, natural beauty and diverse locations contributed to the atmosphere of the film while once again highlighting the city’s potential as a filming destination.
